NT CONNECTIONS 2020

For our Senior Youth Theatre group, taking part in the National Theatre Connections

Festival for the previous two years has been an amazing experience.

The process involves choosing a script, exploring themes and characters, rehearsing

the performance, performing in a space of our choosing, gaining feedback from a

professional theatre director, rehearsing again with the given feedback and then

spending a day at the Connections Festival in April at the Royal and Derngate where

we perform the play under professional conditions, watch and support other

performances and take part in activities and workshops.

As one of last year’s cast said, “It was amazing to work on a project for a long time

and see it develop.”

So, Fabula Arts are delighted to announce that our Senior Youth Theatre will

be taking part in Connections 2020.

We are now looking for a cast of 13-19 year olds to join us on the journey.

Sessions will take place on a Thursday evening during term time at Quinton

Village Hall (NN7 2EA). Each session costs £5. There is also a one-off payment

of £50 per cast member which goes towards the fee due to the National

Theatre.
